If it's only stuck on the front corners then there's a chance it's got a locking mechanism to hold it in place, no idea how to release it though.

Thanks for posting that on the fiat forum ;D

Yea thats what i thought, as i could move the rest relatively freely with my hands, that the front might have a lock down mechanism but i dont know lol

The last 10mm pull of the roof does pull it down against the car so it could be jamming at that point. Try lifting the front edge as you attempt to open the roof. Mine jammed once on one side only and pulled itself out of square and jammed. It was quite easy to take apart but it needs to be open to access the screws. Turned out a bit of spring (nothing to do with the roof got stuck in the tracks and jammed one side. The other option could be the cables/rods are seized into the tracks. That would not be good as they're hard to get to with roof closed.

Thanks for posting that on the fiat forum

its okay mate, theyre always a helpfull lot on there so thought it was worth a shot :P :P

now im going to ask one question which may be obvious to some but isnt to me, why have you been registered on FF since june? youve never had a fiat have you ? :P

on the roof subject like others i think it will be a lock down mechanism, like a vauxhall corsa with C/L turn the key and it locks turn it abit more and it deadlocks :P ;) i would imagine with the roof that its hold the button for a few seconds but youve no doubt been hammering the switch already so theres something a miss ;)

good luck (youll need it ;) )
