Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can give me a fair valuation of a 1960 Minivan - or point me in the direction of somebody who could, the vehicle is owned by my uncle who is now in his 80's and is unable to drive it anymore so I have been given the task of disposing of it. He has owned the van from new (yes 47 years!), It was only ever used at the weekends in the summer and for holidays (though he did travel across Europe in it), but he would never drive it in the winter - because of the fear of salt corrosion!

The registration is MEN 261 which must be worth something on its own, the car is generally in very good condition, there is the odd bit of rust but no holes see photo's. It is tax exempt and although the MOT has expired I would ensure it had a full 12 months before selling (I doubt its done 200 miles since its last MOT and is stored in a dry garage).

I'd be grateful for any comments or ideas

if only i had that kind of money ;D

that is mint mate and with that flat roof i think your looking at a bit more than 4k, but as with anything its worth what someone is willing to pay,

the flat roof and the load floor are what will make your van very valuable, if they are in good nick your on to a winner.

with a years ticket i would think around 5k maybe a bit more who knows.

I'd call it priceless. I keep it just for show's and film work. i'd say 6-7k.
Very lovely looking van.
