I'm maybe looking to get some tail light tinting spray, becasue i love the look of the black tail lights, just like on Ade's R1, (i think i've got the right person).

Just a few questions, would a product like the one half way down this web page be fine, or can i buy the rear lights in black from a retailer? I've had a look but cannot find any.

Also, would the rear, brake and indicator lights be clearly visible, (i.e. once i have applied the spray) or would the visiblity of these been rather poor?

James ;D

Yeah that stuff would be fine, so long as you abrade the lights first with scotchbrite. (halfords)

I don't know of anyone at the moment selling black tinted rear lenses, you could get all colours a few years back.
As for the lights showing through, it should be fine, just don't put it on too thick put on a couple of coats and check if it shows through, add more if you like, whatever. It would probably be better to get a clear lense kit and tint that, I imagine you could get it darker as it's clear, yet the lights would still show through.
