Hi people,
My name is James, been looking around ya forum for quite a while now and thought i'd finally introduce myself. i bought my third (second working) mini about a month ago. I'm absolutely loving this one. 1989 Racing, not a patch of rust, 20k geniune miles, im the second owner, and its been rebuilt for sprint racing. Bill Richards built the 1425cc 130bhp engine and theres all the required accessories for racing; full roll cage, kill switch, lil fire extinguisher that frightens every new passenger that gets in my car!

I've still got the first mini (1976 Clubman) sat on my drive. I've had it for two years, just finishing replacing the rear subframe. Thinking of selling it as an unfinished project though! The second mini I bought went to the big car garage in the sky at the same time I got my latest mini.

I live in north Kent, Sittingbourne, so my local club is SMOC, so hi to all the guys from SMOC who've just joined here as well. And I'll actually be joining the club as soon as I get my car back.

The reason I haven't got my car is because the engine is being rebuilt due to me running out of oil and damaging the main bearings! No one told me it would use sooo much oil over soo little distance!

One last thing, a huge good luck to Bill Richards who's off to compete in the Monte Carlo Historique on Thursday.

P.s Could someone tell me how to upload pictures of my car?!
