they were a freinds friends girlfriends dads - he used to be into mini's so he had them garaged so there in fairly good nick, even got the original stickers on, but he wanted the room for something else so i got them !

gona get them shot blasted and powdercoated black - and hopefully if i can source some, get some weller stickers to put back on them

here's a pic of a quick test fit

now that will look nice! time to get some hi-los too, so you aren't sporting the off roader look. any decent sticker place should be able to replicate the weller logo for you.

yer there 8 spoke 12x6's i believe --- yer just to fit the steel nuts for a test fit, it seemed like they didnt fit quite right so i need to research the proper nuts (that sounded odd) ;)

that's the ones i have holding mine on, and all 4 wheels are still on the car, so i'd say they're the right ones, tapered alloy ones will run out of thread before the wheel is fully "clamped" to the hub, whereas these ones have a slight radius, just to help centre the wheel

Hey Mephiston, I realised yesterday that I pass you every day on my way to work!! Unfortunately i'm in my Yaris, not a mini but i'll try and wave tomorrow morning!! I passed you this morning on a mini roundabout next to a big pharmaceutical (I think) company along the B2032 (again, i think)!!

Looking forward to seeing the wheels on there soon!!!

PS I'm not a stalker, promise!

yer i know where you mean Phiser - big old corporate pharmicuticle (cant spell at all) company, on the dorking (b something or other) road a bit after pebblecomb hill. did you get stuck behind the tracktor this morning - it had its hazerd lights on at the very bottom of the hill just where nothing could pass it.

i will look out for you, but in the mornings im a bit - well asleep so if your ignored or given a puzzled look, dont take it the wrong way :dontgetit:
