Right, so, whoever's replaced the side repeaters on my Mini in the past hasn't used the proper side repeaters. No. Not the simple one's that slot in. They've gone and bought and fitted some daft ones that are held into the body with two screws.

So anyway, one of the covers for one of the side repeaters is missing. Thought I'd rather replace both units than mess about trying to get a cover. So I ordered a couple of clear side repeaters from minispares. And they don't fit :dontgetit: ^_^

They're not wide enough to cover the screw holes which have been drilled into the body.

I've been to 2 Halfords, minispares, and I can't think of anywhere else that could sell them! The car is originally from the North West if that helps, I just either want a replacement repeater unit or a cover for the passenger side one, that's it! It's proving rather difficult!

Anyone know of anywhere? Please?

I'll get one tomorrow if I remember. In the meantime can anyone point me towards any mini parts suppliers online particularly in the North West. I've already tried minispares, minisport, p&l and a couple more I can't think of.

Do a search for mini side repeaters on ebay, that usually brings quite a few up.

Not 100% sure but they look to me that their supposed to be for a new mini. Someone must have a done a serious bodge job to get them on bcos ive never seen any in that style.

I don't think it's a bodge really, I've had them off and they're screwed in firmly to the wing, not damaged or anything. Just strange, I wonder why they didn't bother just replacing them with normal mini repeaters.

Thanks for that link Meph, I'm going to call them to see if they can measure the width of the oval ones, I only want ones that will cover up the screwholes really!

That place were really helpful, gave me the sizes and everything, so I've ordered a couple, came to £16 delivered which isn't too bad because they're the full unit including bulbs.

Cheers guys :D
