Erm..... For rear down force???

[The aerofoil on that makes the car more 'slippery' to quote JetBlick, he knows his stuff when it comes to aerodynamics.

I thought that with a front wheel drive car you need more front down force to give the car more grip - so you can get the power down as well as give better handly, and all that rear downforce does is effectivly slow the car by pushing the rear down, something like a front splitter would be better - saying this my knowledge of aerodynamics is quite minimal - feel free to tell me im wrong :dontgetit:

The rear spoiler will only come in to effect at relatively high speeds to prevent the back end from lifting, basically to keep the car planted with there being no weight in the back.

imagin coming over the brow of a hill, when over the top the weight isnt going to be as usual and thats when the back end feels light, which is why 205 rally cars have a tendecty to be quite twitchy over crests at high speed they have a light back end with the mass is mostly at the front even with top spec suspension :dontgetit: even worse when they take off n land

Anyway back to topic, it looks nice, but i still wouldn't go to see them race again, i saw them once and i went home through boredom :dontgetit:

They can't possibly be as boring as the nascars and pickup trucks at rockingham. Clarkson had it right in that top gear in america program - nascar really does suck!
