The measurements I have are as follows

<--------------------1040mm-------------------->
l
l 190mm
l
-------------------l 160mm l--------------------

The 190mm is the Height, 160mm is breadth of the hump in the middle and the 60mm is the height of the hump. My advice as a very handy woodworker is to over size everything when cutting. Use these measurements to make a cardboard template. Get this right then use 9mm - 12mm mdf and draw around the template. Cut it out slightly oversized and sand it down accordingly. My best tip is measure twice, cut once.

Ive heard the rear bench board method is C**p, and the speakers sound pants :S.

I will be going for a simple design, 10mm mdf to cover top of the rear pockets, covered in padded black vinyl to match my door cards with one 5" for each pocket. Will need to seal around the cardboard liner at the bottom of the pockets and around the new mdf peice, but think after doing that each speaker will ave a decent air enclouser, both enclosures being exactly the same volume and should look smart! A bit different to parcel shelf/rear bench speakers!
