Running Strange And Puffing Smoke

This started happening last night on the way to picking my sister up i would sit at a junction waiting to pull away i would start moving and suddenly the car would cut out and all the power go then come back to life in about 10-15seconds, it also does it once pulling away and changing into second gear it will splutter and then smoke would appear from behind heater matrix/centre console anybosy have any ideas??

Interesting,... At first i'd say it sounds like a fuelling problem flatspot,.... but The smoke from the heater? .. Hmmm not sure.

Check all your leccy connections,.. could be the coil. could be load of things!!!!

dont think it's the actual heater smoking just thats the are the smoke is coming from smells to exhausty, have checked all earths, and the battery etc spark plugs are all in etc

Could be an air leak then,.. Check the exhaust, Check the Fanimold Gasket etc...

It could be the inlet manifold it whistles a lil when i accelerate
