Ok so i thought id borrow a welder, patch up a few holes, be gleaming after a few hours... well how wrong. Ive played with the flipping thing all day, and all i end up with is splats of metal everywhere ¬___¬ what am i doing wrong!
ive got a hole at the top of the inner wing near the bulkhead also, im a bit unsure about wether or not i should just patch it or replace the inner wing, which i can only assume is a nightmare!

that forum is like 10000 pages of an encyclopedia thrown all over the floor!
is it ok to weld a plate over a hole, as opposed to cutting out a whole square and then slotting a new square in that way..?

its only really the top that is in dire need, so i dont really want to be fitting in new panels etc, but as a welding n00b, and a fund-less one at that, i need an easy way!
