Im planning on taking my rear subframe out in a couple of weeks time cause it making loads of clonking and scraping sounds :erm: , i'v got a pair of recon radius arms, set of bushes and a pair of nice :thumbsup: spax ajustables,
what else am i going to need anyone??

it really depends on what condition the subframe is in structurally too, it may be unsavable, in which case you'll need a bit more time!!

as for fitting the bits youve got, you dont need much more than a socket set and spanners, and some grease for ball and socket joints




and a pair of axle stands of course!! lol

yeah the sub is structurally sound. just the bolt ons that need doing!!!
will prob do the brake lines as well, is there some kind of T piece which split up to the 2 drums, and also the flexables??? :erm:

Maybe worth investing in a subframe bolt kit, for the 6 or so pounds they cost they come well in handy if you shear anything.

to get my old subtframe off i had to cut the ends off the bolts that go into the car, and the ones that go into the boot! then had to drill out the old bolts and put a the next size in. I did the break lines and new hand break cable while i was at it. Got new braided hoses for brakes, new shoes though u might have thoes already. A tin of hammerite and subframe fitting kit. I also added hi-los and new cones but might not have to
