If you're talknig about the same offset bushes I am running on mine (white dot from minispares?) then they are offset for increased castor angle. I don't believe they are necessary for lowered cars and I have run my min (albeit for a short period) at standard ride height no worries.

I run my 72 very low, and just have the standard bushes and arms on the bottom, no issues so far ( 5 years ), but admittedly, next subframe rebuild the whole lot will be changed for rose jointed adjustable.

I'm sure this has cropped up 100 times before in this forum and I don't mean to state the obvious (because it sometimes isn't..) but make sure you don't torque up the bottom arm pins at full droop as they will have to deflect a long way to reach ride height. Over not too much time this will shear the bush...

Have the offset ones on my car at standard height, no problem!
