i've decided i'd like to go back to an original dash area and take out my custom-console dash

what i'd like to know is, what bits do i need to go back to the plain, simple open dash that would of been there originally in my mini

here's what it looks like now



i just want to go back to an open dash with the centre binnacle and airvents, but can't see which bits i need on minispares, do i need some sort of cover for the clocks in the centre? as at the moment they're held in the dash itself.

there is soundproofing there at present, but im guessing i'll need the carpet to go over this? haven't got a clue what im looking for though, does it come precut?

i'll also need the surrounds for the air vents, i think i have some spare ones of these though

any help appreciated

I assume the gauges are in a non-OEM binnacle installed right in the dash - you'll need the oval replacement housing if you don't already have it. Minispares makes the carpeted pieces that bracket the binnacle. AFAIK you can't use the padded top dash rail with the oval binnacle, and it looks like you already have the lower dash rail so, besides the vent rings, that should be it (it's all I have in MY car anyway).
