I think I've done something silly and switched the headlights whilst they've been off the car, so now I'm not sure which one goes on which side. I believe the little arrow on them denotes which side each light goes on, can someone check for me, does the arrow point away from the car, or in - towards the grille?

The arrow is the direction of dip usually and should point to the gutter. They should both be pointing the same way Jammy....
