Hi guys!

I'm looking to flip front my baby. front end is coming off due to accident so thought this would be the best time to do it.

What do i need and how does it all fit together.

It will be a steel front.

I know i need brace bars and hinges.

How will i secure it all and how does it all go together?

hope you can help... just gives me an idea. :withstupid:

Thanks

The gas filled hinges are awsome looking, rather pricey though.

i guess you got to look at the necessity of it as well... it may give easier access to work on the engine, but its alot bulkier than just lifting up the bonnet, plus it wont be to everybodys taste if you come to sell the car also. Then again, if i was to personally take this route, id consider a fiberglass flip front to escape the lovely rust!

Have considered fibreglass but they don't fit as well as steel and the paint eventually starts cracking.

Car has been written off twice anyway so has lost its value in that aspect so it doesn't bother me. Plus i'm not looking to sell her on in the future.
