yeah i did a little bit of magic and made the glove box disapear:P hehehe. nah, the new das doesnt have the hole, just used the old one as a template then cut out what i wanted, the big white space will be used for a 6-8 inch tv screen when i get the money, will have a dvd player in it i am hoping. just thought the glove box is so small, got a pair of sunglasses in it and it is near full..

yip exactly that, piece of 18mm thick mdf as the dash is that standard. drew around the original, and cut it up.. and yes the white will need to be washed a few times haha, but thats what the other half wanted, so she will be washing it :o

the raised part of the dash (clocks) is the original, felt like making one but ran out of time, may make one soon though

:P :ermm: Cracking style, loving the colour scheme, very classy *spoken in a tight-lipped envious whine*

yeah i did a little bit of magic and made the glove box disapear

Mine disappeared when the facia came off for rewiring -- the "glovebox" turned out to be a bit of unsecured folded carpet I've been stowing my knicknacks in for five years :o

EDIT OMG you'll have to keep that spotless at all times!

Don't bother laquering it,

As long as you have a thick layer of paint I'd wet and dry it using 1200grit then 2500grit.
Then use t-cut then meguires scratchX then a finishing glaze (I use 3m)
Gives a lovely shine without laquer, easy wipe clean too with a bit of car wax or polish :o
