Just got back form Wrexham were i picked up my roll cage from jim2006 (brad) what a top guy

Been to see what Dave has done in the last week,
car as it stands now, you can just see the roll cage in the car he was just on with fitting it


He has got the body rubbed down ready for the primer and hopes to maybe have it painted be the end of the week


Hes had to chop the inner wings down a bit so that the front doesn't hit them when lifting

then here are a couple of the hinges and the gas lifters


Just a few things i need to sort for securing the front and bits but Dave thinks that he can see light at the end of the tunnel

Mines off to be MOT'd in a few weeks & have some suspension tweeks too, so looking forward to getting him back on the road again!!!

If it wasn't for your project thread I wouldn't even be considering putting a flip front on mine. Out of interest, how much did the front cost you as I notice it's carbon fiber but Curley only give a price for fiber glass on their website. I'd prefer a CF one but it depends on cost really.
Can't wait to see it done.

Just had a catch up with your project Puds, it's all looking good mate, love the flip front, cant say i've seen one that way round. Cant wait to see it all painted up & shiny!!

Just a word of warning about Curly, Dave (body shop guy) is dubious about it being carbon, try and find another place to get one from,
