blimey thats pretty big! i think a bit of chopping it at the back may be in order! a fair few people on here have dealt with similar dashboards, so someone must have had experience!

I think your best bet would be to fit a steering column drop bracket, by doing this you can lower the column and this will give you more clearance...

get some trimming done to where the dash meets the front of the car. its hard to tell but taking a good 5inches or so off should give you plenty of room and not overshadow the heater and switches.

i do have a coloum adjuster fitted,

not sur ei could chop of 5 inches, mainly because that main centre bit where the speedo is slopes to the very back, guess i will have to cut and see

Who did you get that off?

It bolts onto the bottom dash rail.

Yes you do need to lower the steering column.

Has it still got the trim lines etched in the top section?

cannot see any trim lines, its already been trimmed a bit,

coloum adjuster is on. but with the steering wheel on and done up, losely..

i still cannot get my fingers between the 2, its so unbelivably large..

what shall i do, continue with the trimming ???
