I need a new lock set but do they do a full replacement kit??

Also i can open the drivers door with a small house key :P but i cant turn the barrel and the steering locks on! will the be a problem when changing locks? Oh and how can i get the boot open without a key??

They do a complete set of door locks but since the Mini was never a single key car there is no complete lock set. The steering lock can be swapped while stil locked.

You will need a door lock set, steering lock assembly (with two new shear bolts) and fuel cap. Takes about 2-3 hours to do it all I seem to remember from the last time I did it. Drilling the steering lock bolts is a pain but the doors are worst for fiddlyness.

The boot is possibly the most secure part of a Mini, you may have to drill the lock.

what - no spare keys!

There aren't actually that many different keys for mini locks, excluding the ignition, dunno if anyone would still have the means but in Leyland dealers we had a set of master keys to cut from if you knew the key number. Quite often if someone brought the lock in, a key could be found to fit. They used to have the key numbers stamped on the locks at one time too.

Also stripped and built up matching barrels before now.

Afraid there's no easy fix for the steering lock :)
