I'm sure I've seen that Silverstone Prototype on Ebay before, or it could have been another Silverstone Prototype maybe!
There was defiantly one on Ebay before, I think around the same time I was looking for my Mini (March 2007)

My cabriolet was allegedly a 'prototype' shell but I bought it as a shell from Tickford and it was a wreck when I first got it. I would guess these UK silverstones dont really class as a prototype, more of a 'market research' vehicle where they were used to guage interest from dealerships and the public perhaps - I see quite a lot of this kind of car through work and I'm sure it was just the same in those days.
