Hi All, I just bought a Mini Cooper today, its in British Racing Green with White stripes, which are signed John Cooper. It has the original Minilites on it and is in excellent condition, with no rust or subframe issues. It has a electric webasto full length sunroof, but unfortunately not the original interior. I paid £1300 for the car, which I feel was a steal. It has been garaged for years and I have seen it every morning for 3 months, outside the house right near where I work. I saw the guy painting his house today, so asked him if he was thinking of selling the car, to which he said "YES"... He wanted about..£1500 for it. I nearly fell over, but still had to haggle a bit, as its the done thing when buying a car, and we agreed on £1300 cash. Nice one, thanlks very much.
Now this is my first real mini, although I had one as a kid it was a 850 on a K plate (70's). Have I got myself a bargain here? The car really is sweet, having covered just 44000 miles, there is no rust at all, or subframe issues. Starts first time with no suspitious noises.
I am looking for an interior for it, so if anyone can help. I'd be grateful

As long as you're happy with it then it's alright 1300 for a very good condition mini is cheap. I know it's a bit late now but did you check all the electrics etc? If not, the price allows you a bit extra to fix anything that might be dodgy anyway.
