can't help you with the pricing or the people in your area, i'm afraid.... :shifty:

but i'd advise having a go yourself! :genius: you'd save alot of money and you get to learn more :P

Well look at this way, a mechanic could charge anything over £50 an hour for the time it takes to service a mini.

so you've already saved yourself maybe £100 (lets just say it takes you two hours cautiously servicing it) if it's your first time doing a service.

My last service on a mini involved:

Halfords classic 20w50 Oil + Oil filter
HT Leads
Spark plugs
Air filter
Points + Condensor
Radiator flush + Coolant
Thermostat and gasket set.

Came to £52.06 in parts.

Hey Dan!

I live in Cranford by the Jolly Wagoners round about! I go to a mini club that meets every 1st and 3rd sunday of the month and we're having a mini clinic next month so you can come join and jump in then a few weeks after we're going for a rolling road session! (fingers crossed)!

Or give us a shout! Where about in Heathrow are you!?!?

And you forgot on thing, which you should do when servicing/every 3k and that’s greasing you nips.

And at least if you do it your self you know it’s been done, rather than paying/being told it has only for it not to have been.
