Ok, so I'm contemplating what to do with my mini I recently purchased. The history behind it is that I am the second owner, the first having lovingly re-built it for the last few years in close conjunction with Bill Richards (engine builder). Now I know how much work was put into this car so I'm a bit apprehensive to change anything about it, I wouldn't mind putting bucket seats in and adding door numbers.
Also I don't really know how well they would fit the car. I use it everyday so I think buckets with harnesses would become a bit of a pain.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!!
A pic I photoshopped to see what door numbers would look like?
To change or not to change?

I personally wouldnt do door number.
Unless they are in Circles rather than square/rectangle.
Buckets arent bad. My mate has Cobra buckets in his mini and its a pain in the arse to shut the door

Buckets ARE a pain in the arse, especially mine with no padding. Being 6'2", I find it a little bit tricky wriggling in and out of the bucket seat. Door numbers would look cool as long as they are round. How about the year your car was made for the number like mine?

Hmmm, i prefer the square door numbers. I have a full roll cage as well with one bar going right across the door, so I think it would be a real pain to get in and out, I'm think I may just get some old works style seats or one bucket i put in just for track days, does anyone know how easy and quickly you can change seats over?
