i know i want it :genius: its kinda on my shopping list (or one i know sumone else is thinking about developing)
before spending that kinda of money id make sure to speak to the company it comes from, the company that actualy manufactures it (not the seller being minispeed) they will be able to give more detailed specs and tell you about it, upkeep etc when running it

Rare as, therefore, expensive to fix when you break it, and it will break at some point.

An awefull lot of money for what it is.

If you've got that much money to burn, change the power unit to something which you can have a more reliable and proven gearbox on the side of it...

Its not reeeeeally that expensive, considering a dog gear kit will cost best part of £1300, and then you got bearings and the shifter mech. And its reasonable too when you consider sequential 'boxes for escorts are best part of £10k, and they're built in high quantities because of all the mk2's in the unlimmited class rallying. But that said, they're 6 speed, and they're built by quaife.

Wouldn't mind knowing a bit about these tho. Like, are they mechanical or some kinda digital electronic jiggery pokery, just looks like that black box could be full of electronics or something? And who actually makes them? They are the ultimate tho! You can change the power unit for less, yes.... but it still wont have an A series with a sequential box :dontgetit:

i explained in another topic how they work roughly

some sequential box's are less than 10k dependent who u know :dontgetit: thats face value and not with competitors price which is available some places

an im not sure on that, some are direct acting, so as you push the lever forward...even had one of those biro pens when u click it rotates the inside which pushes the centre round and thus the nip down...its how i imagin it to work but im unsure, as you push it forward more it will spin further locking pegs into different positions obviously 1st is push forward thing so its just a change in direction to where the peg is
i think electronic ones, flappy paddels use solonoids
if i had a sequential box id also be buying this...demon tweeks i think that links on to existing shifter using a actuator to push/pull the levr as would in hand

i dont think i actualy like money...as soon as i get it seems a desperate bid to remove it from my bank accound as quickly as humanly possible lol
its one of those things you can add in tho and not required to run the car (also if its running before i get it i also get to see how much it actualy improves my driving :dontgetit: ) one day...one day...

I can think of alot of nice things for £1300. Only 5 of them are mini bits.
