hi whats the best weld for desseming as my mate told me mig isnt strong enough so itll have to be gas welded is this true because i can mig weld but cant gas weld tnx for your help much appreciated

MIG is plenty strong enough if you're able to produce a good thick weld with plenmty of penetration, after all, it's what's holding your mini together already :P (apart form maybe some rust) :gimme:

Oh dear , a little knolage is a dangerous thing , please dont believe every thing you are told , mig welding is strong enuf if done correctly , the problem with gas (oxy/act) is that it adds too much heat into the repair area softening the metal around the repair also due to the flame type you are adding oxegen to the weld area causing it to rust quicker .
