ok no technical stuff please, if im wrong then by all means explain briefly where ive gone wrong. i'll do a step by step thingy in laymans terms so we all understand what i mean. (this is assuming its an injection model!)

1. the middle 'triangle' part of the supercharger is where the air filter goes to let air IN.
2. one of the end bits is where the compressed air goes OUT.
3. one end of the supercharger is mounted where the spinning end is connected to a pulley.
4. the psi rate will depend on how long the pulley is.
5. you may fit a psi gauge, but is not necessary
6. you may fit an intercooler between the outlet - intake box on engine - but not necessary
7. you dont need any other parts
8. in order: belt drive on engine - pulley to supercharger - supercharger - air filter in middle - pipe to intercooler - intercooler - pipe to airbox on engine
9. you dont 'need' anything else for the setup.

dont worry bout ECU etc etc its just the inital setup i want to make sure is right in my head.

On point 4, the psi rate will depend on the ratio of the radius of the two pulley wheels - this is effectively a gear ratio

On point 5, fit one, it'll be cool!

In essence that's right.

You could also vary the boost level by varying the diameter of the driving (crank) pulley, which could be an easier option if you already have a pulley on the compressor.

What you've described will be the easy bit setting up the fuelling, ignition etc will be harder.

Engine mods are likely needed...strengthening, reduced compression....

yea but most engines can run to a certain level of boost before death (?) so as long as its not silly it still be an improvement. and would sound great too!

The compression could be a killer - with a turbo you can use the waste gate to side step the worst points in the rev range.

These are the wrong way round - the inlet is on the 'end' opposite the pulley, and the triangular shaped hole on the 'bottom' is where the compressed air comes out.

Can I ask why it's a triangular exit? Seems like an unusual shape to me.

maybe because as there twin screw as i think they get closer towards the end of the screw the air is compressed in a different way
to create higher boost levels making the pully rotate more times than starndard will draw more air in, so i believe getting a smaller pully will do this (not sure where will do them tho but its somthing i too would like to know)
boost gauge, id still fit one if pull change is being done (nice to know what its making and such, also if theres any problems)
intercooler, no not necesary turbos tent to pick up heat from the hot casing but remember when air is compressed it heats up, as it passes through the screws it will build more heat. to run an intercooler a plate will have to me made to fit onto the "triangle side" obviously then simple pipe work can be made up out the intercooler to where ever (plenum usualy for injection engine's)
you will need other bits, belt tensioner, obviously to make sure it keeps the belt tight and spinning correctly (it attaches to the supercharger bracketry i believe)
