Hi All,
I have a problem with my brakes. Bleed them and even checked for leakage but everything looks fine. Next day, all the fluid gone. redo again and check for leakage again. but nothing.
So, i suspect the master cylinder to be something wrong. I took out the master cylinder and found out that theres a lot of brake fluid inside the servo. took out the servo and put away the oil.
Is this due to the oil seal from the master cylinder? should there be oil inside the servo? What do u guys think. How to check?
Thanks in advance

my chevette had the same problem, master cylinder repair kit is what you needs....
changes the plunger seals inside the master cylinder pushed bythe servo,
has it been stood a while before use? could have 'stuck' and when you tried for first time the seal broke away....
looks like this is the one you needs...

Thanks..
Its been used a few years times already.
this is my servo http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=34058
and this is my master cylinder http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=37134
So that means the oil leak thru the seals. ok thanks
Do I need to sandpaper the inner side of the master cylinder where the piston moves. or i can just replace them.

you really need an to check the bore...i believe using an inside micrometer(maybe wrong)
if the bore is 20thou out (if the ol' memory is serving me well) to what it should be, then that will also be the problem and the master cylinder needs replacing......bad news i kno sorry!
if its ok then very very very fine sand paper to remove scores/pitting if its fine then leave! dont make wear worse!LOL!
clean everything in CLEAN brake fluid inc your hands(wear gloves) then make sure nothing is at all dirty and reassemble lubing with brake fluid
bleed the breaks and have a press!
