Thought I would post some pics up to show you lot my car. Its a 1996 Equinox which was owned by my aunt for 8 year before I finally got my hands on it

Over the past eight years I cleaned it, checked the oil, and generally looked after it for her. The car only covered 10,421 miles under her right foot (and I doubt she EVER went over about 50mph.
Since I got it in July I have spent a fair amount getting it back to spot on condition (to be honest that wasnt hard, it just needed a tiny bit of tlc).
So far its had:
clear front indicators
silver vision bulbs
halogen headlight conversion
Tex chrome windscreen wipers
Tex chrome wing mirrors
Aston style petrol cap cover
6x12 ultralite wheels and falken tyres
cat bypass pipe
sportex side exit exhaust
chrome door furniture
dark wood dash
2" rev counter (changes colour and all that sorta C**p)
ne whead unit
focal speakers
alpine amp
cooper 500 style gear knob
K&N panel filter
and probs a few other bits and bobs I`ve forgotten.

Bought them at a local mini suppliers called Green and White up here in Durham.

I bought these ones (slightly more expensive than the cheapo ones on ebay) becasue they apparently last longer, and so far they seem to be.

Afaik there are some motor factors that can supply Tex products if you ask them, they just dont tend to shout about it

If you get stuck finding some I can get the prices from them and maybe sort out some posted?

Cool, why is TEX difference, is it the brand or something or does it just mean they are stainless steel?

Nice car mate, I always liked Equinox's.

Tex is just called Tex AFAIK. They're good among Mini parts makers as they were an OE supplier years ago, when wing mirrors were first put on the car they were Tex ones.
