just got a set of deep dish 5x12's with 165 tyres. this is a massive change from normal 5"minilights with 145's.

put them on, poo.... the extra thickness is pushing against the car way before full lock.

this is annoying. so do i need a set of hi-lo's or am i cutting some off wings?

sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

thanks
luke.

when you cut away,.. make sure you leave and extra 2cm's so that you can fold a lip onto the wing like the one that was there originally.

The lip gives the panel it's strength back, makes fitting arches back on a lot easier, and gets rid of the risk of your nice new tyres getting sliced up on freshly cut wing edge.

Measure twice,... Cut once, and slowly!

Spacers?

Worked well for me, stopped the problem and it wasnt a comprimise on performance!

just a compromise on safety instead :w00t:

and just for the record "normal" rover minilights are 4.5 x 12 :)
