Good meeting everyone! I spent every penny I had

3 hours each way, but was worth it!

So, whatcha buy?

-2 rolls of carpet (thanks for the idea Tom!)

- 4m of sill finisher
- TMF stickers
- 'Real Mini - Beware of imitations' sticker
- 10x door card clips
- Rear boot carpet

And I think thats about it!!

chrome grille, chrome windscreen wiper set, 4 spotlights and bracket, front bonnet badge for my missus city, plastic door pocket, stereo casing and a trip around the around the track in the convoy. Best event so far!!

I only originally went to see some racing mini action and to buy a couple of roof trim end clips, but my little wallet fairy had other idea's. Came home with a set of 13x7 Starmags + yoko's, Blue perspex sunvisors and various other bits, oh and I got the clips.

If it was tomorrow - I would be going, but alas, I landed from Ibiza at 4am this morning, and I think the olds would of rasied an eye brow or two if I eneded up in a muddy field surrounded by Minis

What sort of excuse do you call that?!! Quite a few years back, I flew into Birmingham airport from Tenerife with a couple of mates at around 3am on a Saturday morning, got a lift to the Northampton area (slept all the way!) where 2 of us got into my mates Minivan which had been loaded with camping gear 2 weeks previously and drove down to Southern Mini Days. I think we arrived at about 11am. And we got called lightweights when we crashed out at about 1am after (quite) a few shandys! Don't think I could manage it now, though - too old!!

You missed some lurvelly Minis giving it large round the track today, anyway!

Bought a brand new genuine clutch arm and some gearchange oil seals for the Clubby while there today, spending a grand total of £11 on parts!

It was my first mini event and i LOVED IT, been to combe for a few lotus track days before but some of the mini drivers were nutters =D soaking wet and giving it all haha, led to some interesting spins
I came home with some Mk1 rear lights conversion plates, group2 arches and some finishers that go on the seams
Top day out

had a brill day, in all!! Got some photos of Tom and CharlieBrown going round the track and some of the show itself! will be going next year without a shadow of a doubt!!

fanastic day for me, bought some headlights and a fog light,

but best of all mini mag came and tooks some photos and details, getting a 1 page spread in the next few months and they said they will contact me about a full feature and all on my first event!
