Lcb Manifold?

A friend has just bought a LCB manifold, from a show, for his 1.3i SPi.

it doesnt have the threaded hole for the vacuum, is this correct??

The exhaust manifold does not have a hole for the vacum, you are probably thinking of the Lambda sensor boss.

But yes, it should have one.

he's just told me what the problem really is! he got an inlet manifold when buying the affore mentioned lcb, and that doesn't have the take-off for vac??!!

does it need one?

There are two types of inlet, those with vacuum take offs, and those without. If you/he has a brake servo he'll need something to bolt the vacuum pipe too!

If he had one on the old manifold, then yes. Not sure if SPi's run vac advance. But also requires thread for brake servo. Maybe time to go get the correct one?

you missed one point

*destroy perfectly sell able inlet manifold*

just found out if its deffintly the incorrect one, sell it and buy the correct one.

tripple check before you buyy!!!
