The event involves 3 starting points, Liverpool, Bolton Abbey - Skipton and Penrith in Cumbria. These convoys of minis will then meet up at Preston, and then leave to arrive at Blackpool at a massive Classic vehicle event.
The mini run last year involved over 200 minis and this year we have been allocated space for 300 minis at the larger event in Blackpool called Totally Transport. Totally Transport will have classic cars from all over the North West aswell as Classic Trams and buses etc.
The Mini part of the event is in aid of Breakthrough - Breast Cancer Research and last year we raised over £1200 for the charity.
It is strictly on a registration basis for the mini run part of the event and people who are interested should email
[email protected]
In order to register their interest, or visit the Mini Club Website
http://www.minifinity.com or http://www.minievents.org
To join in the mini run there will be a cost of £4 going to charity and this gets you a plaque to display on your car.
If there are any other owners of cars that aren't minis they can enter to have their cars displayed at
