Best Cam For Mg Metro 1275 Block

hi all i am new to these forums and would like a bit of info,
what would be the best cam to fit to a mg 1275 engine? i would like it to have good low end power for good pull away etc. many thanks in advance.

The Swiftune SW5 is said to be a great all round cam, with a wide power range, making it suitable for a lot of situations. Haven't used on myself but that would be my recommendation.

However, could I ask what the current spec of your engine is?

the engine is standard mg metro with 1 3/4 carb, lcb manifold,k&n. thanks for fast reply.

If you've already got the MG Metro cam i'd be tempted to stick with that. It's a pretty good all rounder too. Makes for a torquey engine, pulls well from quite low down.
