some total F******, lying useless evil. s****** scum has written to dvla to get a log book for my car! they had the gall to send a pic of my car (only availiable off of here) and say they recently bought it from me.
Im convinced its definately a forum member, especially since ive been getting hate email for a while now.

Dvla sent me a letter this morning asking me if this is the case and my permission to change it.

To that person... you are a LOWLIFE!

I'd say it's time everyone hid their registration numbers, or just blanked out the index numbers like me and the anorak does on our Mainstream Cooper Register site.

You just don't know whose looking on open forums these days and yes whoever did that is a scumbag.

:P As I've now said a couple of times. If you don't report and forward these emails then we can't do anything about it and this scammer/lowlife is allowed to carry on doing what they are doing!

:P

I can't believe someone would try that on.... seems ridiculous and really daft too, did they really think the DVLA would just issue them with new reg documents?!! ;)

It 'could' be anyone that has taken a photo of your car in the street, or even before you bought it..... but if you really think it is a member on here, then report all weird activity to the Admin team and try to get to the bottom of it through them.

I hope you can sort it out soon KC!

Too true, I always try to blank out any number plates which are visible in photos I post, whatever cars are in the photo!

That surprises me

If that's the case I'd ignore the letter, let them ring your car for you; then you can drive through speed cameras with immunity :P

Yup, what a lowlife. I used to leave the registration number on display on my pictures but not anymore. Of course that won't stop anyone doing what's been done to you but at least it prevents scallies on this forum wasting their time trying to pee you off.

What do the headers say? are they coming from a hotmail/googlemail source or a 'normal' ISP.
