heya guys, ive got a 1989 mini city, and im getting close to buying my arches. i want to put sportspack arches on with sportspack replica alloys 13x6's. is it worth paying the extra money to get the genuine arches? are they a better fit? do they look different to th replica arches? anyway, when ive got the wheels and arches, what kind of mods do i have to make? i guess im looking at cutting away some of the arch, but to i have to put a limiter on my steering and reduce the lock? any advice would go a long way, im new to this game, but loving it!

definately get genuine arches! or if you can't quite afford them, get the fibreglass copies, not the plastic ones. you dont have to put a limiter on the steering rack, although the wheels may rub on the inner wings on full lock. not much of a problem in my opinion but if you think it is fit a sportspack steering rack instead.

im sure a few places have some left. somerford mini has just got hold of a load of ex rover stock, so it may be worth getting hold of them. minispares should be able to help as well
