Some of you may have seen the ratios html page which shows the effect of gera ratios / Drop gears, final drive and tyres can have on the final expect velocity of the vehicle.

Clicky

What I would also like to do is extend the functionality of this to include, approximate 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, and optimum gear change points for a generic tune of vechicle.

To do this I need a sample of power curves for various tunes of mini, running from std 850's through to tarmac eating 1425's ( Jammy ? )

I will then ( using a standard weight of mini ) figure out, somehow  , the theoretical acceleration etc of the spec of vehicle.

If you can, scan ( or digi photo ) the curve and describe the spec of engine, and drive train. and post in this thread, then I may be able to get the ball rolling.

Fantastic idea. I was planning on getting a print out of the power curve of my engine as well because of the recent re-build! Unfortunately it has only got the single HIFF44 now, not the webber! Maybe I'll get the webber put on for the Spring Action Day at Castle Combe, if I go!
