998cc Bore Spacing

Anyone know the bore spacing of a 998cc? and/or the spacing of the chambers on a k100rt head?
OR better still can someone do a pic of a k100 head with a 998cc gasket laid over the top.
I was reliably informed that a 998 will work ok with this conversion but i am getting concerned.
surely if it works on an 850cc engine then it will on my 998(possible massive ignorance of the 850 engine showing there)???????????????
HELP set my mind at rest pleeeeaaasssseeeeee

to be honest for the hassel of making it fit a 998 block, you'd be better off doing a short stroke 1275 if your wanting to keep the cc's down? Would be nice and revy too.

This is a 998 spacing. You can see the is a massive gap between cylinder 2 and 3 compared to the 1275 block and 850.
This is an 850 block with a K gasket on.
might just be my imagination about he pics, but the top picture doesnt look like a 998, the gap looks a little too big between 2 and 3 , the bottom pic look smore like a 998
