Does anyone know where i could get some good-fitting (real or copies) miglia arches like above? (cheapish if possible)
Also, is there a proper name for them other than "miglia" arches?
...and just to check, would these wheels be 12" x 6"?
Cheers. Guido.

Well, expect to pay alot if your after racing wheels.
Allycats are 12X8s, but if your thinking of going that big you may want to uprate your steering column etc. 8" wide wheels will weigh alot.

the mig archs are design for race cars which have as wide wheels as they can to get more tracktion. u will find that the archs will hang about 2-3inch out from the wheels.

Firstly the arches can be cut down to be narrower but still are way too wide for 12x6.... Could try though.
You can find 8" wide wheels quite easily. You cannot however get tyres for even 7" wide wheels unless you want drag slicks for 100 pounds a piece

So is there a "road" version of the miglia arches out there, for 10x7, or even 10x6, but that still have the same motorsport style? (a little wider than gp5's maybe)

hi they are called miglia arches, 12X6 will not fill them the wheels on the racers are usual 10 by sumat there very wide though. we went for group 5's as you can see! we have 12X6 deep dish mini lites! and they fill them good enough for me! , i was hoping for abnit of the tyre to stick out but el well.! i think there great!

Ive seen quite a few minis runing force, spectrum, mb splits at 10x7" inch deep dish with miglia archs and they fit just fine. They were all running yoko A008's and they did look a little stretched but not overly so. Ive also seen miglia archs used with deep dish 10x6" wheels like wellers and they looked fine, i expect the arch was cut down as pavel says.
