Does anyone know where i can get one asap. Preferably cheap too, as its only a sticker really.

Need one for my mini because i arent having a solid type one (unless the pigs stop me).

Or can anyone make me one? Must be correct size and correct size letters n font.

Cheers People.

I have a funny feeling they aren't legal any more, they were once but not now.

most things aren't legal any more as long as it is

the correct size and font and can clearly be read should not be am issue

but black and silver plates are only legal on pre 72 cars

I'm sure I read on the DVLA website that the number plate is only legal if it doesn't bend through a certain amount of degrees or something, in other words it has to be a pretty dam flat peice of body u put it on!

Taken from the FAQ on registration marks on the DVLA website:

No, overprinting including honeycomb or other background designs are not allowed.

Are stick-on number plates legal?

No, number plates must meet the British Standard requirements and we are not aware of any self-adhesive number plates that are able to meet these requirements.

Seems quite simple to me.

there is a young lad in the next village over from me with ONLY a self-addesive Numberplate on his mini bonnet, it is just above the bonnet grille bar, so it is fairly upright
