I think of the twin engine is not so good for circuit or race..

The car in the pic. Too heavy for any decent times on the drag strip or on track, with all that FG and guages, etc in it. It looks like its just build to showcase what the guy can do.

i reckon im about the best qualified man on the planet to comment on this car ive built over 100 twin engined cars since 1998 either two engines in the rear in front of the rear axle driving the rear wheels, two engines in the rear both behind the axle driving the rear wheels (this was scary bags of grip but light on the front wheels BIG wheelies everywhere) two engines in the rear one in front and one behind the rear axle driving the rear wheels,
two engines in the front driving the rear wheels through a special drive box (this lotus seven type car was awesome to drive big big power ans drift the rear for fun)
two engines in the front one driving the front one driving the rear wheels this car was another lotus seven which could do 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds 0 to 100 mph in 7.5 seconds
two hyabusa turbo engines in the rear one driving the front wheels one driving the rear wheels this is probably the most effective solution as weight distribution is 50/50 and it goes like nothing else ive ever driven try 100 mph to 180 mph in 2.8 seconds first time you do it its sort of surprising !!!!
i really like the look of what they have done with it they obviously have spent loads of time on making it a real show stopper of a car as to how it goes unless they have a trick on board computer like the one we developed for our cars then the car will go like stink in a straight line but understeer like a b***h in the corners trust me i know i used to switch our system off when demoing the car to people just to see their faces as i turned the steering and nothing happened unless you slowed right down, with the syatem activated you drive the car like a normal RWD car
having built all these cars and driven all of them at speed i reckon that one good 2wd mid engined rwd car is the best fun of all and if i can explain that basically a 4wd car has so much grip that it takes the edge off driving it it becomes a safe thing to drive fast and i like to get a buzz from my driving
when im out in our race car battling with the other cars you feel that you are really at one with the car and you need real skill to get the best out of it
my number one driving experiance of all time was the last two rounds of this years championship on the edge nothing to lose and battling the bigger cars round me was just awesome i was buzzing for a week afterwards
maybe theres something im missing but if you watch top gear etc they all love drifting rear wheel drive cars around and loved the ariel atom, lotus elise, vauxhall monaro type of car with big power driving the rear wheels only and with no artificial aids to help out

i get my police pension money in june next year and plan to build a hyabusa turbo monte carlo then for a demo / race car i will sva test it and register it on the road by then i should be able to sort top gear out hopefully with a car that they can rave about not pick holes in like they have just done with the new civic type r and they did last week with that formula one look alike
once we have built 25 montes i can race in the brit sports cars along with the ferraris, lambos and the like thats what i would like to do if at all possible
it would be great to see the monte line up against the top teams the only thing stopping me is funding it all
our next big spend at z cars is a 4wd dyno hence no cash for a monte just yet
