Having left it far too long already I need to do something about my '91 John Cooper Conversion that is currently sat rusting away in Worthing. I can't see myself having the time to do this myself in the near future so can anyone recommend somewhere, preferably in Sussex, to take the car for restoration? It's mainly bodywork (surprise, surprise) but also want to have the engine refreshed at the same time.

Have you thought of John Cooper Garages at all? They do still do servicing and repair work on original Minis even though they are mainly a MINI dealer. And they always like to see their own cars coming home.

So it did, just over a year ago. I'm quite stunned by that. Having said that it was obvious for some time that Mike had little respect for his Father's legacy.
