Does Anyone Fix Mobiles ?

I bought a phone the other day of a friend its the Lg prada and i dont know what's happend. 1 day it had signal and the next it didn't but i did drop it the night befor so that could have something to do with it. So if anyone fixes phones let me know please and how much it will cost :) thanks.

Mobile phones, like laptops, are built from modules. If it is really broken the only way to fix it is normally to swap a whole module. This combined with the heavy subsidy the network providers offer on new phones means they almost always cost far more to fix than you paid for them in the first place and more than is worth paying. I had the screen module replaced in a favourite phone of mine once and I was shocked when the bill came back at well over £150.00. They also always reinstall the phone's software when they do it so any that have been unlocked or recoded will be returned to you reset back to the manufacturers spec.

It might not be physically broken of course, but they'll charge you quite a bit just to test it. There are lots of places that do it, check the yellow pages.

if you look on the forum in my sig there is a bloke on there called fatladz he is a mobile phone tech
