Drive Shaft Castle Nut Split Pin Keeps Breaking....update!

Right, i went up to the autofactors, and bought a new nut and a torque wrench and a new hefty split pin that comes in teh ball bearing kits....

Took the conical / split washer off to see if i had a split pin hole closer to the hub... i did not....
So back on with the washer and new nut, tightened to 150lb/ft's and still the split pin hole was some way infront of the castle nut, however it didnt look so bad this time with such a bigger split pin in, if it had been any closer the loop head of the pin wouldnt have gotten in the turret gap!

We'll see how long this lasts how it is...otherwise im replacing the CV joint!

i had the loosening problem too, and now my cv joints snaped, ordering anew one tonight lol! lets hope you have better luck!
