yeah i know...
plus its quite a distance from me. further than if i went to the ace cafe for one evening but i might be persuaded

Quite likely that we'll be there, as it's only down the road, and the shopping list is starting to build again...

i dont think ill be going to either

Yep, Brooklands is weird but very atmospheric, a length of flaky old steeply banked track going nowhere in the middle of nowhere, but in the museum you can fill in the blanks and imagine what it must have been like. Plus you meet lots of minis plus friendly owners. Plus there are some amazing aircraft relics. Plus a drive in convoy (SMAC expedition '04 pictured) is always a blast

Brooklands is in the middle of nowhere says the man from Wiltshire.......
We used to live up the road from Brooklands, in Byfleet (where the Nasty People in Byfleet come from too).
Having been to both these shows a lot before, I'd choose to go to Stoneleigh every time. The last Brooklands Mini show I went to was really depressing, while Stoneleigh is really good and I go most years.
