iv bene looking at these systems because i will be doing alot of traveling down to beaches around the country and unfortunatly for me i dont always get the conditions i want or i want to watch what iv filmed that day. when i get there so looking at something i can use as a normal cd player and then when i want to pop a dvd in i can pop the screen up and watch it on a nice 7" ish screen

dose any have one of these systems in there car that they can recomends and more importently the price you payed for it.

iv noticed you cna get ones with detatchable fronts for anti theft purposes if poccible i would prefure one of these type.

in honesty i would like to spend around £200 but i know im looking more at £400 ish i dont want to go much higher than this price although the £600 ones do look amazing

iv seen some nice alpine ones are refurbished ones somehting to stay away from ?

thanks guys
stu

I paid £500 for mine last year but the price has came right down

Great for road trips

it will be worth when im down the beach watching movies when its raining. i think im going to need a bigger car every one is going to want to be in mine lol

thanks for your help though M44K TS

i wouldnt advice buying the small 3" screened ripspeed ones. they are very prone to breaking.....

however the flip out screens are made by a different company (i believe panasonic but couldnt find proof).

Yeah, the flip out screens are made by a different company, but i forget which company though. The flip-out screen jobbies are alot better quality than the other Ripspeed Headunits.

yep the ripspeed fold out touchscreen jobbies are good quality.. but the small 3" one was useless and the normal pop out screen one wasnt that much better!

to be honest none of them realy appealed to me anyway if you want a screen you want it big enough to watch with out straining to see it
