Hi, i was just wonderin if anyone could give me a sort of guide price to how much a full respray would cost with all prep work. By a full spraqy i mean outside, inside and engine bay. Just a rough idea would be great to plan for a project as it will be my first one. Oh yeah, the colour is ford radiant red and will have sportspack arches and sportspack side skirts,

I'm not really familiar with spraying and i really don't know whether to expect 500 pounds or 2000! lol.

If i've missed anythin or haven't given you enough info, just ask.

Cheers.

Depends where you go.

Are you going to prime the car?
Are you going to strip the car?
Are you buying the paint or the shop?

If they prime the car aswell as strip it, provide paint and the spray, a common price is around the £1000 mark.

I had a quote of £500 for my car, from a friends friend but he was too far away and i can get it alot cheaper through my dads business.

Wow, £500 seems pretty damn good. I guess the best thing is just to ring round and get quotes. Anyone know of any spray shops in wakefield or leeds that are good (and good value for money!)

good luck trying to get a quote from a garage, when i had mine striped down raedy for primming and respraying, i couldn't get a straight answer out of any of the garages i tried, even tried to get a ball park figure of twice as much but non of them would even do that, so i sprayed it myself in the end. its not a bad job,

just need a large enough space to do another one and some more practice

good luck anyway

At my place we would quote you in the region of £500 if the mini was striped (of trim ) and needed no major other work .
remember , you are paying for labour ,the cheaper the quote the less time they intend spending on the prep work so cheaper is not always best
A major main dealer our way has comfy soafas and a posh office and fancy printed paper , they would quote you about £2500 to respray a mini , but the lads that work there are on a bonus scam and spend as little time on the prep work as they can possably get away with so for your £2500 you get a £750 job
(this is no joke , i worked there for 13 years )
I COULD do you a respray for £350 but i wont because after a year the paint would bubble and flake and i would get the name of a rip-off merchant
or worse , I could do a £350 job , charge you £1000 and get some soafas in my office :(

I've been quoted a full respray for £500-600 down here.
