Hi
I was thinking about fitting either mk1 1 light clusters or sunk in circular rear lights, (i have seen them in bigbadboab's signiture picture of rab the mini) i have an 89 city and i dont intend to bodykit it, i was wondering if anyone could give advice on which i should chose and which lamps should be sunk into the back (i was thinking land Rover defender fog lights, the new circular type)
Cheers
Reuben

If you go for the sunk in lights, it is critical that you get the angle of the tunnel correct. If you don't, then the rain water will collect inside the tunnel and eventually corrode, like mine.

think you would need to weld plates in to take the different lights.

you can get later mk's to mk1 light conversion plates, so you could make sum i suppose.

Hi

I like mk1s, if thats what you want mini-machine in Darlington make their own adapters, which are supposed to be the best, and cheapest.

Mk1 lights new are £90 a pair or £30is used (usually).

hi
I have decided to go with the sunk in type rear lights, in the end i decided on the land rover fog lights to be sunk in as these worked out cheapest
