Well finally sold my ka and picked up this little funky mini today from okehampton, mighty-mini took me up so he could check it all over while i did the deal,lol

Its not a project as such but i intend to smarten her up and add a few touches here and there as i think she looks great as she is.

its a 1992 J reg mini city e..........63k on the clock......only modifications she has is a 4-2-1 manifold and twin dtm exhaust...rolling on brand new 12" revolutions

Looks like its in pretty good nick. I wouldnt trust dave though, i mean what kinda guy pays more attention to a nissna than dilly the love of his life lol nah daves sound.

well the enigne was in a worse state then i fort it would be as well as my battery kept dying on me i also broke down in launceston in the peeing rain and had my boss to push me off the road,lol.

but lukily as i work with dave he had a quick look and found the dizzy cap and points were shiot so saturday we spent couple of hours and 50 quid later getting everything done...so now she has had a full service including fan belt...and to stop the rain getting at the engine dave used the marigold trick and i put a plastic sheet behiond the grill

fingers crossed i only get minor torubles over winter,lol.

well my dash and centre console arrived on friday woop woop so going to be deciding waht color to do them in.

well since i did the engine....i treated the cat to a clear light kit..............centre console..........bucket seats................cd player..........and i ripped her insides out


And arriving today are my cooper 's' style bonnet.........smoothy bootlid........roger grant rear roof spoiler

That's the 3 inch DTM exhaust isin't it?
Long distance motorway journeys make you deaf! Mine got ripped off today so I've replaced with a standard one, and my god it's so nice to hear things when I'm driving again. Apart from all the squeaks and rattles

yeah they are the dtm's i know its wrong to do but if u blipp the throttle when u just turned the car on wtih full choke .....i can get the exhasut to bang ,lol problat due the the amount of fuel going in
