Was thinking of getting another mini but i am after something different, when i actually realised what car i drive now, a ROVER 218i S, yes with a 1.8 K series engine.
Never even thought of this before, and with me never having ventured onto the Z-cars part of the forum before, i thought i'd ask some stupid questions beofer deciding the next step of either selling my rover and buying a mini OR consider a conversion.
What would i need to start the conversion? bearing in mind i currently drive the rover.
What mods would need doing to a mini? and what mini would be best for the conversion? I dont currently own a mini so if this is possible (and in budget) then i can buy a car to suit!
How long would a conversion like this take for a relative modding novice?

Z Cars don't do a conversion using the 1.8 K series. I'm sure they would if you asked them nicely enough, but I would imagine Chris or Rich would try and persuade you to use a Vtec engine anyway...
