purchased some new sheet metal niblers so that I could do some metal fabrication work.

I needed to cut out some sheet metal to patch up the rear seat bin

I purchased a new rear floor panel to replace the rust I cut out. The only problem is that I have removed the rear companion bin so I needed to add some metal in.

likin the metal fab i love sheet metal fabrications
It was quite enjoyable to do but took ages....probably because I haven't a clue what I'm doing really.
looks like a fun task im afraid i dont have the patience for marking out metal!
Well I haven't really done it before. I'm very new to fabrication and welding so at the moment I quite like doing it. I must admit that I will be glad when it's all done though.

I've tacked in new front and rear drivers side floor pans and I have done quite a lot of fabrication work on various panels. I'll get some new pictures uploaded in the next couple of days.
I've also just purchased a car body spit/roller from a guy on eBay to make working on the project a bit easier....pics to follow.

Looks like a good project. Liking the retro theme with modern carbon fibre touches. I wanted to do something similar but the price of carbon fibre took it out of the option list!
Thanks it's starting to come together...well sort of. Carbon is expensive but I find that spreading the costs makes it seem less painful although I have got about 2 grand on carbon still to go!
Cheers, Luke.

Can I ask where you got the nibbler from?
Thanks
Machine mart and it cost about £10.
